Depop

Local activations proving style inspiration can come from anywhere

CONTEXT

Depop isn’t just a secondhand reseller app – it’s a style discovery engine powered by a community of stylists, curators, and influencers who build clout and earn cash by partaking in circular fashion. Powered by its unique algorithm, you can scroll Depop like you would Instagram, searching fits tailored to you based on your likes, search history and digital preferences.

While they’re wildly known in the UK, they wanted help building awareness amongst fashion-forward communities in key US markets like LA.

OUR UNLOCK

In our modern tiktok era fashion inspiration can come from anywhere. As style inspiration has become decentralized, gen z has begun taking fashion cues from everywhere whether it be a viral fit check, a movie character, a niche aesthetic or even a meme.

We wanted to celebrate this behavior and show how Depop’s algorithm enables you to find anything your style, no matter how oddly specific or peculiar the search.

 OUR IDEA

Depop this Look

A hyperlocal campaign brought to life with local LA tastemakers and Depop sellers using LA landmarks as their unexpected fashion inspo. Users can scroll landmark-inspired Depop storefronts, showing how with Depop, inspiration can literally come from anywhere and be found all in one scroll.
